The Activist's Dilema print edition is one of the originated stills from an animation film which features three cotton cloth rags that circulate and dance around one another. The work touches on a number of ideas. The Red, Gold and Black of the flags could be read as a reference to the colours of the Social Democratic revolutions of the 19th Century, which later formed the colour basis for the flags of post-war Germany. Similarly Red, Gold and Black might be taken to refer to Socialism, Capitalism and Anarchism. Lastly the echos of Constructivism are also to be found in the work. It is available supplied in a white frame or as an unframed print.
