Juliet and Romeo
Juliet and Romeo is a photographic edition featuring a single frame from our film ‘Romeo and Juliet.’ The original film is a stop-frame animation which features a discarded bridal floral arrangement that dries out and wilts over a period of several weeks. Compressed into a 28 minute video, the work moves from a rich floral beauty to an increasingly complex patchwork of colour and form.
To celebrate the work’s premiere in Berlin in January 2025 we produced a short run edition of two prints, one is titled Romeo and Juliet, and this one is titled Juliet and Romeo.
