Art may fail to be triumphant somewhere in the Pennine Regions.

Gavin Wade will be faxing, phoning, posting and emailing a range of businesses and individuals throughout the transpennine region to establish if there is any need or desire, whatsoever, for public art. His findings, which may well represent the final victory of consumer desire over bureacratic desire in the field of public art, will be published on these pages over the next few months.
