For Artranspennine03 Hilary Jack has produced an upholstered resting post for walkers and ramblers along the transpennine trail. The upholstered area of the post is made from a section of an abstract painting and the support sections of the hand rail are made from wood normally used for making canvas stretchers. The leaning post has the appearance of the a bed-head as found in hotels and travellers motels and also refers to the pin button upholstery so beloved of our suburban living rooms. It will provide much needed respite for the weary traveller along the transpennine route.
