description:
This project locates engraved blue plaques, which reference those used in the
heritage industry, across 6 sites in Leeds city centre. The plaques offer information
about contemporary visual arts practice in the UK and contradict art myths.
They are accompanied by a set of postcards showing the locations of plaques
which will be available from Tourist Information Offices and contemporary art
spaces throughout the Artranspennine region.
